Youth football official: 32+ years

  • Youth Football Assignor: he was the youth football assignor for 6+ years for many of the youth football associations.
  • Served on the AzFOA board for many years.
  • He also assigned for the annual Special Olympics Flag Football Tournament
  • Rick was the assignor for the Phoenix Phantoms, members of the IWFL (Independent Womens Football League), and for the Arizona Assassins, member of the WFA (Women's Football Alliance).

AIA football official: 35+ years

AIA Soccer official: 20+ years

U.S. Lacrosse official: 2003-2012; Rick officiated youth, High School, and College Women's Lacrosse for 9 years.

  • He earned his District rating (second highest US Lacrosse rating) in 2009 while officiating the 2009 WCLA (Women's Collegiate Lacrosse Association) championship series. He was the 2nd native Arizona lacrosse official to earn the District rating.
  • Rick officiated the AGLA (Arizona Girls Lacrosse Association) Championship game 2 years in a row in 2010 and 2011.
  • He served on the board of directors for the AWLUA (Arizona Women's Lacrosse Umpire Association) for 5 years and was Training Director for 2 years.
